For sale, 1990 Acura Integra GS 4 door sedan. This well maintained but rusty vehicle has been my reliable back up car since 2002. It is by far the best made most reliable car I have ever owned. I work on my cars and have a detailed service record with many receipts for lifetime replacement parts that will be included with the car. There are too many lifetime parts to list. Costco Michelin tires have 10k miles on them. Rebuilt (4 speed) automatic transmission has 9k miles on it. Lifetime wheel alignment at Firestone, last done 23k miles ago. Exhaust system replaced a year ago. High power, long lasting, maintenance free Optima Yellow Top battery has never failed to start this car. Timing belt has 44k miles on it. Power windows, power locks, cruise control, power mirrors, AM FM CD stereo, all working. This car still has a long life left to it. This vehicle is exempt from the Illinois pollution test because of the model year. It also qualifies for much lower cost Antique Vehicle License Plates. $1500 or best offer. A one-owner Integra GSR. The body has been rather ravaged by Indiana and Minnesota winters, but it has been mechanically reliable. This engine has not been altered from factory specifications. The car has received scheduled maintenance over the years. However, I have rarely driven it the past 2 years. The tires and battery are in need of replacement (there is 1 new tire on it). There is some water in the front left headlight. The passenger side mirror is broken. The hoses are probably not fit for travel. The power locks work imperfectly. This is in all likelihood be of interest to those who wish to harvest the engine, or are seeking a renovation project. I highly recommend you trailer this vehicle to your destination, as the tires are not in appropriate condition for distant travel. All numbers match, which is to say it has its original engine and transmission, and this is one of the years where each car was also individually numbered on the center console. I own the car outright, title in hand. It is a salvage title, and the vehicle is perhaps best describes as a rolling chassis. About 93,000 miles on the B18C5 and 5 speed. Aside from an unknown clutch issue which is currently sidelining the vehicle, it is in fine mechanical order. The engine sings. I used this car as my daily driver for 5 years, and it never let me down. The body and interior is in what I would call poor shape, as evidenced by the pictures. Maybe twenty yards of Gorilla Tape, total. Under a hundred zip-ties. That said, all lights and signals work. Power windows and locks work. Windows keep water out. Feet won't go through floor. It is a road-worthy, and indeed road-legal vehicle with the clutch issue attended to. Top Secret header-back with working cat. AEM intake. Hot cam. Reflash. Short shifter. Upgraded axles. This vehicle would make a great donor/parts car to another Type R. With a little work it could become a very serviceable weekend racer. It would take a substantial amount of work to get it to Barrett’s for the $50,000-$60,000 it might command. It will need to be trailered, and local pickup is the only option. More vital parts such as shock mounting points and engine mounts are all good. There is no rot that I can find, though a few spots of surface rust can be found between certain body panels. Again, nothing full-thickness yet. Rust covers 1% of the car's surface. The interior is generally complete, and also rot-free. Sun damage abounds. Aftermarket DC5 clones are ripping in places and repaired in places. Rear Alcantara is still genuine and in relatively good shape. No AC. Heat works well. Relatively new, good battery. New starter and alternator last year. Fires right up, every time. Engine bay is in good shape. Cracking and chipping on the red valve cover, but the exhaust manifold is seated well with no leaks.
